Our Founder
Dr. Scott Pickle
Dr. H. Scott Pickle is an accomplished Superintendent, author, and national speaker with more than three decades of experience in public education. As the visionary behind Impact One, Dr. Pickle has dedicated his career to helping others see the power of a single moment, a single decision, and a single person to create lasting change. His work reflects a deep belief that leadership is not about titles or positions, but about influence, service, and the ability to ignite passion in others.
Throughout his career, Dr. Pickle has served in nearly every educational leadership role, including Superintendent, Director of Human Resources, Principal, and Science Department Chair. In each of these positions, he has built strong systems and cultures that empower people to grow, collaborate, and lead with integrity. His leadership is marked by a unique balance of compassion and accountability, combining practical strategies with a deep understanding of human motivation. He has guided schools and districts to achieve excellence through purposeful mentoring, transparent communication, and a shared vision for improvement.
Dr. Pickle is also a prolific author whose works include Impact Mentoring, Impact Leadership, Impact Teaching, Impact Resiliency, and Impact Artificial Intelligence: Integrating AI into the Modern Classroom. His books have inspired educators and leaders across the country by bridging timeless human values with the tools of modern innovation. Beyond his publications, Dr. Pickle serves on the Brown University EdResearch Advisory Board and contributes to statewide efforts through the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence, the California Practitioners Advisory Group, and the EdWorkingPapers Network.
